VANN B. JONES
Vann has resided in Prince George’s County since 1970. He is currently retired from the Washington Gas Light Company where he enjoyed a 35 year career in design engineering and Autocad. Vann exemplified his entrepreneur spirit when he founded and established a successful real estate brokerage, Vann Jones Realty, for 25 years. He utilized his extensive real estate experience to focus on empowering and educating clients on the virtues and values of owning real property. He conducted workshops and training sessions geared toward preparing first time home buyers to repeat buyers on how to leverage the best financial products and approaches to achieve their goals. Vann’s motto to life is “Dreams are the key.” He believes we are to dream big and live by faith. He has a passion for teaching youth financial literacy and fiscal preparedness and used his wise and witty approach to teaching money matters as an instructor at the Evangel Assembly, Investments, Technology and Skills (ITS) Academy. Vann attended the University of Maryland, College Park and is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Vann is a member of Evangel Assembly Church of God, Temple Hills, Maryland. He and his wife Diane currently live in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. They have been happily married for 37 years, and have two adult children and three grandchildren. Vann and Diane are currently enjoying the virtues of the new business venture with the Marlton while continuing to focus on spiritual uplift, community service and outreach. Vann is an active member of the National Children’s Center (NCC) Career Academy Advisory Board and Board Member of The Embry Center for Family Life.
